Easter Study in PINK...

Hi everyone,

Wow, can you believe it?  March 1 already. One good thing is the fact that winter is on it's way out. And spring won't soon be far behind.  I have an Easter card for you today done in all pink.  I hope you like it.

The easter basket and the happy easter is from Just For Fun Rubber Stamps. I just love this basket. I colored the basket, bow and grass with colored pencils and then used a small brush to apply the liquid pearls to the eggs. This gives them a really nice pearl finish. I fussy cut the basket and adhered to a sheet of secret garden paper. Doesn't the little girl look like she is about to touch one of the eggs?  Added the die cut trim on the left side, die cut a frame and stamped Happy Easter on the same pink card stock. I touched a bit of glitter on the pink bow but it is difficult to see in the posting. To finish it all I added dark pink rhinestones to the label and the lace strip.  The finished card is 5 x 7.
